Olawale Adekoya Spy CSP, (FNIS), Officer of the Nigerian Police Force, and Fellow of the Forensic Investigators’ Society, Nigeria, is a seasoned media professional, public affairs analyst, political analyst, strategic communicator, editor, sports commentator, writer and university administrator with extensive experience spanning journalism, broadcasting, public affairs, protocol, and institutional communication.

He is a United Nations (UN) Ambassador of Peace, an International Eminent Peace Ambassador, and a member of the Nigerian Police Force (SPY) with the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), having received professional training at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos.

He currently serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Chief Strategist (at Large) of Our Moment Newspaper and is widely regarded for his depth in strategic communication, media intelligence, and public affairs analysis.

Adekoya is a PhD candidate in Mass Communication at Caleb University, where his scholarly interests intersect media, fake news, misinformation, strategic communication, and public discourse. He is also a member of the Lagos State Football Association Arbitration, Ethics and Disciplinary Committee, as well as the United Nations International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA).

A Certified Protocol and Community Security Expert, his multidisciplinary background reflects a rare blend of media scholarship, strategic diplomacy, security consciousness, and institutional protocol, positioning him uniquely at the intersection of academia, governance, and public communication.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State; a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos; a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Mass Communication from Caleb University, Imota, Lagos; and a Master in Diplomacy and Strategic Studies (MDSS) from the University of Lagos.

He also possesses a Basic Certificate in Journalism, an Intermediate Certificate in Journalism, as well as an Advanced Certificate in Journalism from the National Broadcast Academy (formerly the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria – FRCN Training School), Ikeja, Lagos.

His academic and professional trajectory underscores a lifelong commitment to learning, leadership, scholarship, and national development.

An accomplished journalist and editor, Ambassador Adekoya has led and managed respected media platforms including Mode Men Magazine, E-27 Magazine (Editor), Vista Post (Editor), and National Mirror (Correspondent) etc, while also overseeing both print and digital media columns.

As a Broadcast Journalist, he has undertaken numerous freelance and professional engagements, serving as Education and Community Correspondent at Metro FM 97.6, Ikoyi; Political Correspondent at City 105.1 FM; Guest Analyst at UNILAG FM; Guest Analyst on Radio Nigeria 97.6 FM Men’s Roundtable, among numerous appearances across over 21 radio and television stations nationwide.

Renowned for his eloquence and intellectual flair, he is a highly respected broadcaster, sports analyst, public affairs analyst, and youth empowerment advocate. For over 14 years, he has anchored the education-focused radio programme Grammatical License on TopRadio 90.9 FM, advancing literacy, effective communication, and civic consciousness.

He is also a regular political, news, and current affairs analyst on RadioNow, KW FM, Benin, and The People (Voice) FM, Lagos, and an accomplished sports analyst on Channels Television; Lagos Television, Rave TV, TopRadio 90.9 FM, a role he has sustained for over 15 years till date.

He previously served as Special Adviser (Media and Strategy) to former Chief of General Staff/Military Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, the late General Oladipo Diya, GCON, contributing significantly to high-level media strategy, political communication, and public engagement.

He currently serves as the Senior Information and Media Expert, and Head of Protocol, at Caleb University, Lagos, where he provides leadership in institutional media relations, publications, strategic communication, event hosting, planning and coordination, and protocol management.
